The connector ships with a guided install pack: download, enter your licence key, point it at your Sage data path, done. Most customers self-install in about 20 minutes. Assisted install is for people who'd rather we drove — a remote session where we install the agent, configure the connection, test it end-to-end and hand over everything working.
How It Works

30-minute remote session (screenshare or we dial into your machine) at a time that suits — Sage can stay open, no downtime needed.

We install & configure
Agent installed beside Sage 50, licence key applied, data path and user set, outbound connection to the gateway established.

Live test
We pull a real customer and invoice through the gateway in front of you so you can see it's live — not a demo.

Handover
Your portal URL, admin login and (on API tiers) your first scoped keys — plus the self-serve guide for adding users later.

FAQ
Do we need downtime or to close Sage?
No — the agent installs alongside Sage 50 and reads its data. Users keep working throughout.
What if our Sage is on a hosted desktop?
We install on the hosted session the same way. If the hosting provider controls installs, we coordinate a session with their admin.
Can we self-install now and book assisted later?
Yes — it's a one-off charge, no deadline. If the self-serve pack doesn't go in cleanly, the £150 covers us finishing it.
