Storefront webhook
When a customer checks out, the platform fires a webhook to the connector's API on your domain.

The order is mapped to your Sage structure — customer account matched or created, SKUs resolved to stock codes, VAT handled, raised as a sales invoice.

Shopify
Small Shopify appWe build and host a lightweight Shopify app for your store. Installing it registers the order webhooks and grants API access — no webhook config on your side. Uninstalling cleanly removes them.
WooCommerce
WordPress pluginA small plugin installed from your WP admin adds the webhook endpoints and exposes the REST credentials the connector needs. Standard WordPress install — upload, activate, enter the key we give you.
eBay
No plugin — marketplace account linkNo store plugin exists on eBay. You approve our marketplace application in your eBay seller account; we receive marketplace notifications (orders, refunds) and call the Sell APIs back for fulfilment and stock.
Amazon
No plugin — SP-API authorisationYou authorise our SP-API application in Seller Central. We subscribe to order and inventory notifications and push updates back through the Selling Partner API. Authorisation is revocable from Seller Central.
Magento
Magento extensionA small extension (Composer install or admin upload on Magento 2) registers the webhooks and API credentials. Removal is a standard module uninstall.

FAQ
Which platforms are supported?
Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, Amazon and Magento out of the box. Other platforms via bespoke endpoints if they have a sane API.
Do we have to install a plugin?
Shopify and WooCommerce/Magento get a small app/plugin — it just registers webhooks and API credentials. eBay and Amazon need no plugin at all; you authorise our marketplace application and everything flows through their APIs.
Who hosts the plugin/app?
We build and host it — you just install it into your store. Updates are handled through the same add-on; you're not maintaining code.
What about orders that existed before we switch on?
Sync starts from go-live; historic orders aren't backfilled into Sage unless you ask for it as bespoke work.
Does Sage stay the stock master?
Yes — Sage stock is authoritative and pushes out. Storefront sales decrement Sage stock via the order, keeping one source of truth.
