What We Map

Data extraction

Customers, suppliers, nominals, transactions and stock are extracted via ODBC or SDO, depending on the Sage 50 version.

Structure differences

Sage 50 is file-based and Sage 200 is SQL-backed, so records are re-keyed and validated rather than copied.

Stock and warehouses

Sage 200 adds warehouse-level stock control, so existing stock is allocated to locations as part of the mapping.

Integrations

Any connectors pointing at Sage 50 are re-pointed or rebuilt for Sage 200 before cutover.
